Born on an army base in the deep American south Joe grew up on Cape Cod in Massachusetts and is a proud New Englander through and through. The very day after graduating college with degrees in History and Middle School Education Joe moved to New York City and spent the next sixteen years in Manhattan working in television and new media production, beginning as Archivist at The History Channel and ending as Director of Media Resources for A+E Networks.
With his wife Kim and their two young daughters in 2017 Joe traded a busy east coast corporate life for a little quieter life on the west coast as co-owner/operator of a large family-owned B&B/Guest House here on Salt Spring Island. He is excited to have joined our Parish as Administrator in March 2022.
