“The duty of the Parish Council is to assist and support the Incumbent and the Churchwardens in the general business and the programs of the parish.” – Canon 6.9.i
The Parish Council is the Advisory Committee for the Parish. The Parish Council is elected from and by the parishioners at the Annual General Meeting of the Vestry. Our Council comprises 6 parishioners, 3 of whom are elected each year for a term of 2-years, not including ex-officio members.
Churchwardens - a minimum of 2 - are appointed by the Incumbent and/or elected from and by parishioners at the Annual General Meeting of the Vestry and are, with the Incumbent and Treasurer, ex-officio members of the Parish Council.
