I have been attending church on Salt Spring Island since 1979, sporadically for the first 8 years and regularly after we moved here from Prince George in 1987.
I started cooking for crowds after learning from a friend and doing a lot of multiplication then spent 10 days with my friend cooking for 50 people at the Anglican Church camp in the Cariboo. I did this for 10 days each year for 11 years. Our ACW in Prince George branched out to include a quilting group which I joined and never looked back. It’s much more fun than housework! I was happy to hear that people were interested in quilting here!
In addition to the enjoyment of working together over the years the caterers and quilters have raised significant funds for the parish too!
